The Balancing Game Web site highlights four years of creative cinematography work, completed by graduate students at DePaul University, via a streamlined design. The site includes movie trailers for The Balancing Game, cast and crew biographies, video blogs and the synopsis.
Objective
- To create a Web site that promotes all aspects of The Balancing Game movie trailers directed by Peter Matsoukas.
Goal
- To make it easy for prospective production companies to learn about all aspects of the plot.
- To highlight the work of all cast and crew members.
Web site design
The design was a mutual task between WBC and Web site designer, MMO Hut. The site includes a minimal amount of colors and links to allow more room for the trailer content. Fewer links and objects on the pages allow the most important aspects of the site to stand out – the videos and written descriptions.
